This item is a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Sensor.
It mounts inside the wheel of a vehicle. The rubber valve stem protrudes out of the rim to let you add air, while the black plastic body houses a battery and a sensor to transmit real-time tire pressure data directly to your dashboard.
Pricing and Details
- Cost: Individual sensors generally run between $15 and $45, depending on whether you choose a generic aftermarket sensor or a factory OEM version. A complete set of four usually costs between $40 and $120.
- Programming: Most aftermarket TPMS sensors are "universal" or "programmable." They must be electronically cloned or paired to match your vehicle's specific frequency (usually 315MHz or 433MHz) using a specialized handheld TPMS tool before the car will recognize them.
Are you planning to install these yourself, or are you trying to find out if they are the correct frequency and fitment for your specific vehicle?

Vehicle Fitment
This exact 433 MHz part number is highly specialized. Unlike universal programmable sensors, it is engineered as a direct-fit factory component primarily for the following vehicle and towing setups:
- Ford Super Duty Trucks: Primarily compatible with 2017–2026 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty models.
-
Ford OEM Trailer Systems: It is widely used specifically for Ford's factory Customer-Placed Trailer Towing TPMS Kits (OEM Interchange Numbers:
HC3Z-1A189-DandTPMS-47). These systems monitor heavy-duty trailer tires directly through the truck’s dashboard display. [, 2, 3, 4]
